Can't Find What I'm Looking For...

Every once in awhile, I try to find different blogs to follow and read. There's a few things that I look for in a blog.

1. A good design that is easy to navigate and look at.
2. The content is something I can relate to.
3. The blogger has written something recently.

The hardest one for me is finding content that I can relate to. There are so many great blogs out there, but I'm not a mom, I'm not married, and I don't have a "real" job. It's great looking at all the families and happy moms, but I just can't relate. Then there is the fashion blogs. Trust me, I want to be fashionable and take cute pictures of my awesome outfits, but let's get real. My wardrobe consists of sweatpants, t-shirts, and gym shorts. I have some cute outfits, but I go to comfort before "fashion". Not to mention that I don't even remember the last time I actually went out and bought something new, so I don't feel that my clothes are "trendy" enough to put up on my blog. My last thing  I look for is something that's crafty. I have my Etsy shop and would love to put my shop out to other crafters, but I can't find a lot of blogs like this.

I can't find any blogs that pull me in and keep me wanting more.

This is a problem. I want to find blogs where I follow them religiously and then if I want to have them sponsor me, I trust them to do a good job.

I don't know what to do! This blogging thing is a lot harder than I thought. It's hard to get people to be interested in what your writing about and it's hard to find something your interested in reading. I don't want to pick one specific topic and only be restricted to that. I want to be able to write about whatever I want, whenever I want to!

Any tips?

  1. Go to passionfruit's website and then look through their "marketplace" section..there are tons of blogs laid out by themes!
